Present at the 25th anniversary of the Casa do FC Porto de Chaves, André Villas-Boas set his sights this Saturday on the club reaching the mark of 200 thousand members soon.

'We are very satisfied with the dynamics related to membership at FC Porto, which has grown by around 20% per year since 2024. Therefore, we are very close to reaching 190 thousand members, who correspond to different regions of the country and also abroad. We have a very concrete goal of reaching 200 thousand members as quickly as possible, and all this without having yet innovated and launched campaigns to recruit new members. Therefore, FC Porto wants to cement its position, namely its associative position,' he said.

In this context, Villas-Boas announced that FC Porto will 'soon' have a renumbering that 'could bring balance back to the numbers' of members, giving a 'real perspective' of those figures. 'In any case, that does not distance us from the goal of quickly reaching 200 thousand members and, after that, 250 thousand. That is our goal,' he stressed.
