Gianluca Prestianni appeared in Argentina national team training with a visible mark on his face, a consequence of the controversial incident he was involved in during the Clássico between Benfica and FC Porto. The Argentine winger shared two photographs from the training sessions on Instagram and, in one of them, it is possible to identify the mark on his face.

The episode happened during the match at Estádio do Dragão last weekend, when Prestianni complained about contact to his face by Alberto. Referee Miguel Nogueira did not award any foul and, faced with the protests from the Benfica player, showed him the yellow card.

The image now emerges during Argentina's camp, although Prestianni has not made any comment about the incident or linked the post to the episode.

The forward arrived at the national team with complaints in his left ankle and, in an initial phase, did work separate from the rest of the group. The situation, however, turned out not to be serious.

After a new assessment by Argentina's medical team, it was determined that the ankle complaints are of traumatic origin, with no significant injury identified. Prestianni therefore remains at Lionel Scaloni's disposal and should be an option for the upcoming fixtures against Bolivia, Burkina Faso and Benin.
